Have You Been To Hell And Back?

After reading my blog post "'On Assignment' in Hell", former San Francisco Chronicle Travel Editor John Flinn told me I could go straight to Hell. That would be "Hell, Norway" which John said is "on the rail line north to Boda. So to get to Boda you really do have to go through Hell." I haven't been sent to Hell (you know, the one "down under", but not in Australia) yet, but I really ought to try to go straight to Hell (the Scandinavian one) before I eventually make my final journey to that Hot-As-Hell place.

So, if you've traveled to Hell (either to a place with that exact name, or a place was a "Hell Hole") anywhere in the world, or have visited any place with a quirky place name, write about it (what it's called, where it is, and what it's like being a tourist there) in a "25 words or less" contest-submission format in the "Comment" section at the end of this blog post.

Let's see which readers of this blog have been to Hell and back, and what they have to say about the trip.
